Growing Stagnant Kingdom

Hey dad you know how I use to write those stories, well I thought of this analogy that might help you.

So in this story there’s a king, that’s you!

Now you’re not king because you wear a crown and sit on a throne above everyone else.

No, you’re a king because you built a kingdom.

Now you built this kingdom from nothing and it grew and grew, you noticed how many people it was benefiting so you continued to grow it.

But one day the kingdom stopped growing and it caught you off guard, so you probably stressed yourself out trying to figure out why.

And what you can do for it to grow again.

But maybe the kingdom stopped growing because that’s all the king was capable of running.

You said yourself that you couldn’t handle anymore growth at the moment.

But just because you’ve reached a limit doesn’t mean it’s the end of progress, because the limit can be raised.

But now the king’s gunna have to grow before the kingdom gets expanded.

So I’ve learnt that the first step to any growth or increase is gratitude.

Gratitude for what you have now before anything else comes.

I know you’re obviously grateful to GOD, for providing every block, tool, resource you needed to build. But GOD also provided the support you needed, the people that were with you in the sun working hard and putting all the pieces together; building the kingdom with you.

And you got to realise that as the kingdom you were building together grew so did they. They also grew to the point where they might now be potential kings, who want to build their own kingdom.

So to show gratitude to them, you could help them build theirs.

Now I’m not saying you got to now be back in the sun with them physically building.

You’ve reached a different level now, a level where you’ve acquired all the knowledge, wisdom and understanding needed to build a successful kingdom. Sharing this insight is the key to your growth and with this growth you’ll now be capable of further expanding the kingdom.
